Rising star Yasmina El Abd has officially joined the cast of the third season of the hit series Mawdou A’eli (Family Matter). Yasmina takes on the role of Shaimaa in this highly anticipated season and has already begun filming her scenes.

The series boasts a stellar cast, including prominent stars such as Maged Al-Kadawni, Taha Dessouky, Samaa Ibrahim, and Mohamed Radwan, among others. Mawdou A’eli is written by Mohamed Ezz El-Din and Karim Youssef, and directed by Ahmed El-Gendy.

In addition to this project, Yasmina El Abd is also making waves with her role in the second season of Finding Ola, which is currently streaming on Netflix. In Finding Ola 2, Yasmina plays Zeina, the best friend of Nadia, Hend Sabry’s on-screen daughter. Together, they work to promote Ola’s passion project, “Second Chance.”

The series continues its social drama roots, featuring a stellar cast including Hend Sabry, Sawsan Badr, Dhafer La’Abidin, and Yasmina El Abd. The social drama is directed by Hadi El Bagoury.

Yasmina’s career continues to flourish with her recent success in the Ramadan 2024 series Massar Egbari, which premiered on the Watch It platform. The drama features a powerhouse ensemble cast, including Ahmed Dash, Essam Omar, Sabreen, and Basma, and is directed by Nadine Khan.

Additionally, Yasmina starred in the December release of Sukkar, a family film that became an instant hit. Sukkar brought together an impressive cast including Magda Zaki, Reham El Shanawany, Hala Al Turk, and Moataz Hisham, with a script by Heba Mishari Hamada and direction by Tamer Mahdy. A sequel to the film is already in the works, much to the delight of fans.
