According to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Grand Egyptian Museum’s construction is finally completed, with just the surrounding areas still needing renovation.
As for the tickets for the Grand Egyptian Museum, they will cost as follow:
- For Egyptians LE60
- For Egyptian students LE30
- For tourists LE200
- For international students LE100
Magdy Shaker, the chief archaeologist of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, promised that the GEM’s opening ceremony would go down in history and is expected to take place this year.
He claimed that world leaders would be invited, followed by a public celebration, with international media would broadcast the event.
It’s worth noting that the museum will be the world’s first environmentally friendly museum of its kind.
