The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is gearing up for its next big milestone: trial operations of its Main Galleries, kicking off on October 16th, 2024! Visitors will get an exclusive sneak peek into 12 curated exhibition halls, giving them a taste of what’s to come before the official grand opening.

The galleries promise a journey through ancient Egyptian history, covering everything from prehistoric times to the Roman era. You’ll get to explore how kings, society, and beliefs intertwined in a way that shaped Egypt’s iconic legacy. Besides the Main Galleries, there’s plenty more to check out, like the Children’s Museum, beautiful outdoor gardens, and a commercial area packed with restaurants, cafés, and shops showcasing top Egyptian brands.
