Netflix released the first image of its action thriller “Kate,” in which Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an assassin in a race against time. 

Netflix announced September 10 as the release date in Geeked Week fan event.

The plot tells the story of Kate, who is working in Tokyo and was poisoned. She then finds out that she has only 24 hours to live.

Naturally, this led her to continue her revenge mission to find out who was responsible for her impending death and teams up with a teenage girl in the process. 

Logline:

After she’s irreversibly poisoned, a ruthless criminal operative has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims.
