Medfest Egypt Contributes in an initiative to Withstand Violence Against Women

Medfest Egypt is a unique cinematic forum that brings together filmmakers, health service providers, and the public.

Recently, however, they launched an initiative to stop, resist, and withstand violence against Women.

This initiative urges the world that it’s not okay for violence against women.

We’ve seen recently many incidents that include women being violated by their fathers, brothers, husbands, strange men, and even other women.

And this is not acceptable nor okay!

And every year in November, people wear orange to withstand with women that are violated to support them.

And also this initiative sheds light on the Women’s issue and supporting them to take their rights and stop this violence.

The National Woman Council and UNFPA support this initiative.

Also, there’re Egyptian celebrities that contributed with Medfest to support this initiative.
