If annoyance had a face, it’s Loai Omran’s face! The man knows how to play it so well, and we live for it!
Loai Omran is not a new face on our screens, but he became a staple face recently on our screens as the protagonist friend that we love to hate.
He’s mostly known for the movie X-large, the series Taht el Saytara, and B100 wesh.
This year, Loai is in Ded el-Kasr and Bain El Sama w el Ard.
Loai Omran is not just an actor, though. If you’re born before Gen-Z, then you remember him from several ads as a model, as well as hosting some T.V. shows.
Loai is also an athlete! He was listed as a member of The Egyptian National Track & Field Team.
During his undergraduate studies and for some years following his graduation, Loai participated actively in professional athletics.
He garnered numerous Egyptian titles running for the Heliopolis Club and Ain Shams University in the 400m and 800m events in seven years.
In addition to other sports like horseback riding and swimming, Loai has many different hobbies like writing poetry, drawing, and rally racing.
Because of his father’s work, Loai traveled with his family and lived abroad often during his childhood and teenage years.
He attended elementary school in the United States while living in Ohio and Florida.
Later, when his family moved to Kuwait, Loai obtained his G.C.E.’ O’ levels from the New English School of Kuwait. Returning to Cairo for university, Loai studied architecture and was awarded his B.Sc. degree from The Faculty of Engineering in Ain Shams University.
Loai went on to do post-graduate studies at the American University in Cairo, at which he was awarded a Master of Arts Degree in Islamic Art and Architecture.
Loai’s travels and the diversity of his educational experiences helped in shaping and deepening his multi-cultural background.
He has studied, worked, and communicated with people worldwide and values an open mind when dealing with cultural and ideological differences.
In addition to his native Arabic language, Loai also speaks fluent English and basic French.
