If you aren’t up to date on the latest news since social media went down, then we won’t want you to miss out on the first teaser trailer for House of The Dragon.

The show will be the prequel to Game of Thrones, and it is set to release in 2022.

That’s right. You still have time to rewatch GOT before House of The Dragon’s reign starts.

Even though the trailer didn’t give us that much information, but we were on the edge of our seats; especially when we heard what seemed to be like a mantra:

“Gods, kings, fire, and blood. Dreams didn’t make us kings – dragons did.”

Trust us; you will get goosebumps.

Sooo, when do the events of House of Dragon exactly start?

The show starts 200 years before Game of Thrones, and it will tell us the story of House Targaryen.

Who is in the cast and where to watch it?

House of The Dragon will air on HBO and HBO Max.

The cast includes:

• Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. She is known for her role in Truth Seekers and Wanderlust.

•  Steve Toussaint as The Sea Snake. He is best known for his roles in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Judge Dredd.

• Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen. You must know him from Doctor Who and The Crown.

• Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen. He is known for his roles in Peaky Blinders and The Outsider.

• Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower. She is best known for her roles in Ready Player One and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

• Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower. We all know him from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) and The Amazing Spider-man.

And many more! If you want to check all the characters and read a summary on who will play who and what to expect from the characters, head over to HBO. 

But our advice is that you shouldn’t worry about the cast because probably most of them will die since the show is co-created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal.

Clare Kilner and Geeta V. Patel will direct the series. We also recommend that you get your tissues ready because Ramin Djawadi, who we all loved for his work in Game of Thrones, will be the composer for House of The Dragon.
