The World Food Programme (WFP) in Egypt is partnering with the El Gouna Film Festival (GFF) and Zest to launch “3eish,” a unique competition calling on filmmakers across Egypt and the Arab World to submit short film concepts highlighting food security through cinema
The competition offers a platform for creatives to highlight the crucial topic of food security, while raising awareness and inspiring action through storytelling.
The submission deadline is 14 October, after which a distinguished panel comprised of film industry leaders and members of GFF, WFP and Zest will select the finalists. The winner will be announced at an exclusive event during El Gouna Film Festival and the winning proposal will be produced under funding from the competition to be shown at next year’s GFF edition.
