Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly headed a meeting with the Supreme Committee for the Management of the Coronavirus Crisis in the presence of several ministers and officials, where they agreed to return to work on summer hours about the opening and closing of shops, malls, cafes, cafes, and restaurants.
The decisions made and the working hours in Egypt will now be as follow:
1. Opening of shops and malls from 7 am till 11 pm.
2. Closing shops at 12 am on Thursdays, Fridays, and official state holidays.
3. Opening restaurants and cafes, including those in commercial malls, daily from 5 am to 1 am.
4. The continuation of the takeaway service and home delivery service for restaurants and cafes 24 hours a day.
5- Opening of workshops and handicrafts inside the residential blocks from 8 am to 7 pm.
The committee also agreed to continue prohibiting festivals (mowalid), stressing the prohibition of funerals and weddings, and committing to holding weddings in open spaces only.
