On June 7th, director Peter Mimi surprised us with the release of the poster of his upcoming movie “Mousa.” The film Mousa will be the first movie about Robots in the MENA region.
The teaser has already been released earlier, and now the poster, but it’s about time we get the full trailer!
As soon as the teaser was released, it raised a degree of anticipation, as it is dominated by a dark, dystopian-like atmosphere.
It turns out that it includes many parties to the conflict, one of which portends the end of the ancient world accompanied by scenes of explosions.
Eyad Nassar tells about a sad day in the country’s life with scenes of the empty city and a giant robot.
It appears that it is controlled remotely using a device attached to the head of Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.
Mousa is a collaboration between the biggest production companies in the region
The movie Moussa is produced by three of the largest film production companies in Egypt and the Arab world: Synergy Films, New Century, and Egypt International Films using the latest international graphics technologies.
They’ve been shooting the movie for a while now:
Filming began nine months ago, specifically last October, but stopped due to director Peter Mimi’s preoccupation with filming the series “The Choice2/El-Ikhtyar 2.”
The hero of the movie is the robot Mousa
The film revolves around a fictional world, where the first robot is invented in the Middle East. The robot is the main hero during the events, as it relies heavily on graphics and science fiction.
The film has so many great actors
The film stars Eyad Nassar, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Sarah El-Shamy, Asmaa Abu Al-Yazid, with a special guest apperance by Ahmed Al-Awadi, Ahmed Hatem, Mohamed Lotfy, Mohamed Gomaa, Salah Abdalla, and Sabry fawaz.
Mousa is written and directed by Peter Mimi.
