After news of his hospitalization surfaced last week, the legendary superstar Samir Sabry made a quick phone interview with Amr Adeeb on his program El Hekaya. He gave his fans updates on his health and asked for support during these difficult times.

Shortly after the interview, Amr Adeeb announced that the health ministry would be taking care of Sabry and supporting him throughout his medical care.

Today, the Actors Syndicate released a statement towards President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi thanking him for his support to Samir Sabry and the Egyptian artists in general.
