If you’re still on the look for activities and places to spend your time during this long weekend, we’ve got you covered. Whether you’re interested in arts or music, traveling, and nature, or maybe just a nice place or activity to do with friends, you’ll find what you’re looking for.
Biking in different areas in Cairo
Biking is fun with friends, especially at this time of the year, as the weather is getting nice and breezy. You can rent your bike from ‘Yalla 3agala’ and ‘Cairo bike.’ Their rental services are available in different areas around Giza, downtown, Heliopolis, and Nasr city.
Stargazing
If you’re a stargazing lover, but the pollution and the city’s tall buildings are getting in the way, Well, don’t worry, there are spots for you to do this. The closest one is in Fayoum city, where you can enjoy Fayoum’s constellations through its marvelous Magic Lake in the middle of the desert. And of course, there are other activities you can do like horseback riding, exploring ancient monuments and more. White dessert and Siwa Oasis are also great spots for stargazing if you’re willing to travel far distances.
Picnics
Sometimes all we need is some chill and quiet time with friends and loved ones in a simple setting away from the cafes and restaurant noise. A picnic is a great option to do this. You can go to Al-Azhar park in Nasr city area or Horreya garden in Zamalek and many other parks depending on your preference.
